Mission
Wallenius Marine has together with KTH and SSPA developed the world’s first wind powered car vessel – built to bring 7,000 vehicles across the Northern Atlantic – reducing emissions by 90%. The project was initiated several years ago, and Creo has been on board for two years to document it. In September 2020 a new design generation was to be introduced, and Wallenius Marine wanted to reach out globally to market the project and strengthen their position.
Challenge
The primary challenge was to visualize the ship in a 3D-film. But also to nail the concept and describe the challenges of the project. And: to find a format that could contain all aspects and answer as many questions as possible – without going into details. And: to do this “corona-safe”…
Solution
May need to modify this now to seperate a line out. A live webcasted tv-studio-programme, “news style”, with external participants online, films and live Q&A session.
Results
More than 100,000 views on Youtube the first week.
Wallenius Marine has received a massive response from global media – primarily from the marine sector, but also from other media. All of them very positive. The documentation continues… aiming at sea-launch in 2024.
