To consolidate their position as Sweden’s leading digital agency specializing in motion media.
Demand for moving images continues to grow sharply. Companies, brands and organizations are looking for suppliers who can take the lead – to offer a combination of strategic advice, high creativity, deep technical knowledge and large delivery capabilities.
Creo was founded in 2009 and is a leader in motion media for B2B and internal communications. In recent years, Unreel has built up strong expertise focusing on marketing communications with promotions for brands such as Storytel, iZettle and Happy Socks. By combining Creo and Unreel, which complement each other, the companies consolidate their leading position to drive further expansion and development.
“It’s great fun to work with the Unreel team, which is very professional. By merging the companies and creating a common organization, we can continue to drive the development of moving image in Sweden. This will benefit our customers," said Niclas Grunewald, CEO of Creo.
”This is an important and exciting step in the development of Unreel. The strength of the new organization creates opportunities to include new types of resources and competencies as well as creating new customer offerings," says Mats Karsvall, CEO of Unreel.
Niclas Grunewald becomes CEO of the joint organization and Mats Karsvall becomes Creative Director. Unreel will remain the trademark for parts of the offering that focuses on creative market communication. The new company has over 40 employees with a 2017 revenue of more than SEK 55 million.
"H & H Group has grown rapidly in recent years and we constantly work to create the best possible conditions for our agencies. It is extremely pleasing to see the enthusiasm and respect Creo and Unreel approach each other with – which now results in this merger," says Martin Petersson, Group CEO of H&H Group.
